This week, ASI Locksmiths had the pleasure of supplying, delivering, and installing one of our premium-quality CMI safes. Our customer selected the CR2 Commander series, renowned within the industry for its exceptional security and reliability.
Our experienced Safe Installation Team successfully maneuvered the 700kg safe onto our specialised safe moving truck, one of two in our fleet, equipped with a 2.3-tonne Hiab crane. They then delivered and installed the safe at the customer’s specified location within their home.

Key features of the CMI CR2 Commander series safe include:
- CMI’s Commander TDR Safe is manufactured and designed offering a selection of 9 distinct models
- Body – The body gives a minimum thickness of 90mm of high density refractory material bonded between inner and outer walls of specially reinforced steel to become a complete monolith
- Door – Total thickness 180mm including a defensive slab section of 100mm thick and contains alloy which has a proven record of outstanding resistance to all forms of attack
- Boltwork – Heavy 32mm bolts provide 4 way locking into reinforced sections of the 2 sides, top and bottom of the safe body
- Mounting – 2 x 20mm recessed holes are provided in all models for anchor mounting to floor.
- Hinging – Adjustable anti-jacking hinges, available in standard right hand or optional left hand hinging
- Finish – The CMI Commander safe comes with an enamel durable finish with satin finish handles, locks and fascia panels, complementing the high quality appearance
- Shelving – All models come standard with 2 x adjustable shelves
